At Elegant Indian Weddings, we strive to provide exceptional wedding styling consultation services. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be provided for our paid services.
Free Services
Our initial consultation and styling guide are provided free of charge. No refunds are applicable for free services.
Premium Consultation Services
For paid premium consultation services, the following refund terms apply:
Full Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You cancel within 24 hours of booking
- We cancel the consultation for any reason
- We fail to provide the agreed-upon service level
- You are not satisfied with the initial consultation (within 48 hours)
Partial Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a partial refund if:
- You cancel 48-72 hours before the scheduled consultation
- You need to reschedule multiple times due to personal circumstances
- Only partial service delivery was possible due to unforeseen circumstances
No Refund Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice (except in emergency situations)
- No-show without prior notification
- Services already fully delivered and utilized
- Change of mind after service completion
- Force majeure events affecting your wedding plans
Custom Design Services
For custom wedding design and planning services:
- Deposits are non-refundable once design work begins
- Full payment refunds are available only if we cannot fulfill the service
- Partial refunds may be considered based on work completed
Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Contact us within the eligible timeframe via email or phone
- Provide your booking reference and reason for refund request
- We will review your request within 2-3 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
Emergency Circumstances
We understand that wedding planning can involve unexpected changes. In case of genuine emergencies such as:
- Medical emergencies
- Family emergencies
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions (like COVID-19 lockdowns)
We will work with you to find a suitable solution, which may include full refunds, service credits, or rescheduling options.
COVID-19 Special Policy
Due to the ongoing pandemic situation in India, we offer flexible rescheduling and refund options for consultations affected by COVID-19 related restrictions or health concerns.
Service Credits
In some cases, we may offer service credits instead of cash refunds. Service credits:
- Can be used for future consultations or services
- Are valid for 12 months from issuance
- Are non-transferable
- Can be combined with promotional offers
Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with our refund decision:
- Request a review by our senior management team
- Provide additional documentation supporting your case
- We will conduct a final review within 7 business days
- If still unsatisfied, you may seek resolution through consumer protection agencies in India
Third-Party Services
For services provided by third-party vendors we recommend (photographers, venues, caterers, etc.), refund policies are subject to the individual vendor's terms. We will assist in communication but cannot guarantee refunds for third-party services.
Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days
- Bank Transfer: 3-5 business days
- Digital Wallets: 2-3 business days
- UPI: 1-2 business days
